Air-Out
The Air-Out is designed to balance the built up air pressure on inverted (upside down) forks. This uses 2 one way valves and a pressure release block. Release the air pressure on the stand or while riding. This product helps to prevent fork seals from blowing out. There are 2 360-degree swivel brass valves that screw into the top of each fork leg through the air bleed screw holes. There is no drilling or tapping needed, they screw right in to the forks. These are one-way valves. There is a steel ball in the brass valve that locks the air pressure when the forks are compressed. When the forks extend back out, the valves enable the forks to draw in even amounts of air. This is working every time the forks are working. The forks work on atmosphere pressure, so the forks should be bled as often as possible while riding. Excessive fork air pressure can cause the fork seals to leak.
A high-pressure nylon hose connects these 2 valves to the pressure release block. Between the forks is a plastic tee with a hose that runs up on the left side of the handlebars to the pressure release block. The block has a button to release the air pressure. Mount this between the grip and the kill switch. The button can be pressed before every ride and anytime during riding. The front tire needs to be off the ground with the forks fully extended before pressing the pressure release button. This can be done while on the stand, or pressing the front brake while pulling the bike back and pressing the button or while riding. To release the air pressure while riding you need to jump or wheelie the motorcycle. It only takes a tap on the button to have normal air pressure. The release button lets the Air-Out of the system instead of one fork leg at a time using the stock screws.
Air-Out is $50.00 plus shipping.
